Objectives

To develop VEs for engineering students. The specific objectives of this project are to:

  • Produce a new generation of Egyptian engineers well educated and experimentally trained in manufacturing theory and technology, sound and vibration measurements and control, machine element design, material engineering and metallurgy and modelling and simulation.
  • Develop and upgrade six experimentally-intensive undergraduate courses in VR
  • Establish and develop the VR lab at ASU
  • Establish links between university and industry in Egypt
