Sequential Evaluation

From EuroVR Knowledge Base

Description

A sequential evaluation approach can be used to address the design and evaluation of VE interfaces/VE user interaction. This approach requires the participation of domain-specific representative users, application-specific guidelines and application-specific user tasks. A VE user interface can be developed by sequentially conducting a user task analysis, heuristic evaluation, formative evaluation and summative evaluation. There are often numerous iterations within each evaluation phase or iterations of applying various evaluation phases sequentially, resulting in an improved VE user interface
