Description

Equality (PSE) The Just Noticeable Difference (JND) and the Point of Subjective Equality (PSE) are two parameters related to human perception. Classic psychophysical methods can evaluate: (1) the JND, i.e. the discrimination threshold which is an indicator of the user's perceptual performance and (2) the PSE which provides an indication of the possible perceptual bias introduced in the system.
