Objectives
The aim is the development of a complete system for populating virtual cities with avatars. It will build on the existing, high level, flow simulator for crowds which simulates crowd as a network of nodes and quantities of crowd moving between nodes. The simulation uses characteristics such as visibility measurements to direct the crowd. This work will extend the flow simulation and also develop a full system for low level navigation and animation of avatars in a virtual environment.
