Interview techniques

Description
Interviews can be structured, semi-structured or unstructured. They allow participants to express their personal experience in their own words and can provide insights into the participant’s thought processes. Structured interviews consist of a specific, defined set of questions and responses. Open-ended interviews allow more of a conversation between the interviewer and participant and thus may allow the interviewer to ask broad questions or more detailed questions about topics which arise during the interview, and allow the interviewee to provide additional information.
