Electromyography (EMG)
From EuroVR Knowledge Base
Description
EMG records the firing of muscle units as they relate to other muscle units, thus determining tension and minute muscle activity (without any visible muscle movement). An increase in task difficulty can be identified by an increase in EMG from the shoulder and neck muscles (Hanson et al., 1993).
