Cooperative Evaluation

Description
Cooperative evaluation involves using the ‘think-aloud’ protocol in addition to encouraging the participant to ask questions about the task(s) they are performing or any aspect of the VR/VE system. The evaluator may also ask the participant questions at any time during the evaluation. This technique could highlight usability issues which may not always be elicited by using the think-aloud protocol on its own.
