Completion Time and Error Rate

Description

Quantitative performance measures include speed of task (or sub-task) completion, error (e.g. the number of total errors made whilst completing the task, or the number of a specific type of error made etc.), accuracy (e.g. includes errors but may also include measurement of precision). Quantitative performance measures may be useful in designing for usability by highlighting specific parts of the task, VE, interaction device which lead to error or are time consuming.
